My latest table light is based on the D Day invasion of 1944 with this being the 75th anniversary I thought it would be fitting to do a light to mark this occasion. I have used the original US Army green for this light and overlaid it with black and white stripes that you would have seen on all allied aircraft during the invasion of main land Europe. I used the Dakota C47 also know as a DC3 for my inspiration and have called him Carentan after a town in France that played a part in the fighting in the Normandy area. As with all of my lights they come with a generous length of three core flex fitted with an inline rocker switch. The bulb holder is an Edison screw thread with a mesh bulb guard. The height of the light is 23 ½ inches 60cm and the width is 10 inches 25.5 cm.
